I currently live in Yokohama, Japan with my SO, Marcus.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to travel. Being born on an island and stuck there for the first 18 years of your life can do that to you... I’m from the US and have lived in Hawaii, New York, and Virginia. I’ve been in Japan for about two years now, spreading out my time between Akita, Osaka, and Yokohama.
I live in Yokohama right now and I work teaching English as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher). Most of my posts will be about the teaching life, with a few only-in-Japan type goodies thrown in every once in a while. I like to think of it as a hybrid Japan lifestyle blog and work in Japan blog.
My hobbies include browsing the Internet, online shopping, and writing. I’m a budding photographer as well, so I hope to fill my posts with a bunch of photo practice!
